Grilled Pork Chop
- 1 lb. boneless pork loin chops (4 4-oz. chops) King Sooper's 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 4 cups frozen cut green beans
- 2 Tbsp. trans fat free canola-based soft margarine
- 4 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fat-free sorbet or sherbet
- 32 fl oz (4 cups) drinking water
- Place pork chops on broiler pan; season with favorite salt-free seasoning.
- Broil until cooked through, or until meat is no longer pink in the center.
- Cook peas, carrots and rice in 2 cups water.
- Cover and prepare as directed.
- Cook green beans according to package instructions; top with margarine.
- Divide meal into 4 equal servings.
- Complement each meal with 1 cup of strawberries and 1/2 of a kiwi topped with 1/4 cup fruit sorbet.
- Serve each person an 8 fl oz glass of water with the meal.
