Harvest Vegetables with Swiss Cheese Sauce
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 cups (mL) steamed vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans
- Swiss cheese, grated
- MELT butter in saucepan over low heat.
- Blend in flour.
- GRADUALLY add milk; cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
- ADD cheeses and salt.
- Stir until melted.
- POUR over hot vegetables and top with additional Swiss Cheese, if desired.
- SERVE immediately.
