Skillet Steak Stew
- 1 lb ground round
- 14 cup onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 14 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 2 potatoes, quartered
- 1 cup water
- oil, to brown
- Combine meat, onion, egg, 1 tsp salt, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and 1 cup tomato sauce.
- Brown in hot oil.
- pour off excess fat.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer 2 hours.
- Stirring occasionally.
