Skillet Steak Stew

• 1 lb ground round
• 14 cup onion, chopped
• 1 egg
• 14 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 14 teaspoon pepper
• 2 cups tomato sauce
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 4 carrots, diced
• 1 cup celery, diced
• 2 potatoes, quartered
• 1 cup water
• oil, to brown

1. Combine meat, onion, egg, 1 tsp salt, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and 1 cup tomato sauce.
2. Brown in hot oil.
3. pour off excess fat.
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Cover and simmer 2 hours.
6. Stirring occasionally.
