Air Fries with Nacho Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Slice the potatoes into large matchsticks and lightly spray them with canola oil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange potato slices on a wire rack and place rack on a half-sheet pan.
  5. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  6. When fries are almost finished baking, make cheese sauce.
  7. Serve fries with cheese sauce for dipping.
  8. 4 ounces reduced-fat pasteurized cheese (recommended: Velveeta Light), diced
  9. 2 ounces jarred salsa
  10. Dice cheese into equal-size cubes.
  11. Pour salsa into a microwave-safe bowl and add diced cubes.
  12. Microwave, covered, on high power for 2 minutes.
  13. Remove and stir.
  14. Microwave an additional minute if cheese is not fully melted.
