Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 12 cups powdered milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup white flour
- 12 cup whole wheat flour
- 34 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups oatmeal
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Grind powdered milk in the food processor to make it a finer powder.

- Sift together powdered milk, sugar, baking soda and both flours.
- Stir in the softened butter, molasses, vanilla and eggs until creamy.
- Stir in oatmeal.
- Drop 1/2 tablespoon balls unto cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 minutes.
- Since the dry ingredients are mixed separately, this recipe can be easily stopped when the cook is interupted.
