Peach Sauce (For Poultry) Recipe
- 1 lg. can peaches
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 box lemon gelatin
- Drain the syrup from the canned peaches and set it aside for later.
- Puree the peaches in the blender.
- To the peach syrup, add in sufficient water to make 1 c. of liquid.
- Add in sugar and nutmeg to the liquid and put it in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mix to a boil and let it boil for about 1 minute.
- Empty the gelatin into a small bowl and stir in the warm liquid mix till the gelatin is dissolved, then add in the pureed peaches.
- Pour it into a mold and refrigeratetill set.
- This recipe can be made without sugar and with diet gelatin for those who are not allowed sugar or possibly want a less sweet taste.
