Mashed Rutabega
- 1 (1 1/2 lb) rutabagas
- 13 cup sour cream
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 cup butter
- 18 teaspoon pepper

- Peel rutabega with vegetable peeler and cut into small cubes, about 1/2" or smaller.

- Boil rutabega cubes for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- The time may vary based on size of pieces.
- They are done when easily poked with a fork.
- 3.
- Drain rutabega and mash with potato masher with all other ingredients.
- A food processor works great if you have one.
