Mashed Rutabega

  2. Peel rutabega with vegetable peeler and cut into small cubes, about 1/2" or smaller.

  4. Boil rutabega cubes for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  5. The time may vary based on size of pieces.
  6. They are done when easily poked with a fork.
  7. 3.
  8. Drain rutabega and mash with potato masher with all other ingredients.
  9. A food processor works great if you have one.
