homemade tacos

  1. the secret to this recipe is frying the tortillas correctly.
  2. fill the pan on medium heat with approx 1/2 inch oil in bottom.
  3. once fully heated, slide the tortilla in as to get oil on both sides.
  4. suppress bubbles in the tortilla with your tongs.flip until slightly stiff.
  5. using tongs carefully fold in the middle of the tortilla and hold to allow a 45 degree angle.
  6. hold this until the tortilla solidifies and browns on one half, then flip to the other side and repeat.
  7. pour the entire can of black beans into a sauce pan.
  8. Add paprika, taco seasoning, other seasonings to taste.
  9. Heat til bubbling.
  10. Reduce to a simmer til ready.
