Bacon Onion Chip Dip C/P Recipe

  1. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon 7-8 minutes or possibly till crisp.
  2. Drain on paper towels.
  3. In a bowl combine cream cheese, cooked bacon, lowfat sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions.
  4. Mix well and transfer to lightly greased crockpot
  5. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour or possibly till cheese is melted.
  6. Don't stir.
  7. Reduce heat to low till ready to serve.
  8. Transfer to a bowl and serve with plain potato chips or possibly as a spread on crackers.
  9. Will keep well in fridge for several days.
  10. NOTES : Can be mixed up to 24 hrs in advance and refrigerated.
  11. Spoon into prepard crockpot and heat as directed.
  12. To reheat leftovers, nuke on medium 2-3 minutes.
  13. Stir before serving.
  14. Yield: 3 c.
