Horse Cookies #2
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 34 cup flour, enough to bind
- 6 large carrots, shredded
- 3 tablespoons molasses, a natural electrolyte
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt or 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds, whole seed
- 2 tablespoons cold ground flax seeds, ground
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- Mix ingredients together and roll into balls on sprayed cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes till slightly firm.
- Bake for approximately 50 minutes moving the balls around so they don't stick every 15 minutes.
- When they are finished, they are still a bit soft.
- If too soft then bake a bit more.
- Makes about 3 dozen.
