Creamy Baked Mac and Cheese

  1. Heat oven to 350F
  2. Grease an 8x8 casserole dish
  3. Cook pasta 2-3 minutes less than called for, drain, set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter with salt and pepper.
  5. Once melted, add flour and stir until smooth.
  6. Let cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add milk and wine, bring to a boil while whisking.
  8. Add cheeses and stir until melted.
  9. Pour over cooked pasta and add to the greased dish.
  10. Combine the bread crumbs and melted butter in a small bowl.
  11. Sprinkle topping over pasta and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
