Barbecued Steak Creole Recipe
- 2 tsp -bone steaks, 1-inch thick
- 1 1/2 c. beer
- 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil or possibly salad oil
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 x cloves
- Combine the beer, olive or possibly salad oil, honey, salt, black pepper and clove n a flat dish.
- Put the steaks into the marinade and leave to marinate for 12 hrs turning occasionally.
- When the charcoal is tinged with grey, cook the steak one side, brush the upper side with the marinade juices, turn the steaks and cook the other side.
- Yield: 2 servings
