Microwave Polenta Recipe

  1. Place cornmeal in a 3 qt glass casserole.
  2. Add in water and salt.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Microwave on high, uncovered, for 5 min.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Microwave on high 5 min longer.
  7. Stir well and let stand, covered for 3 to 5 min before serving.
  8. Serve in the same bowl!
  9. Note: Some microwave ovens may require a longer cooking time.
