Fig Cake

• 3/4 cup margarine
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 1 pint figs
• 1 cup nuts, chopped

1. Mix figs well in mixer.
2. Add eggs, sugar and margarine.
3. Add the other ingredients and mix well.
4. Pour into well greased glass dish.
5. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until done.
