Jolly Greens

  1. Cook ham hocks, whole onions, whole garlic, bay leaf, water and broth in a large saucepan for 1 1/2 hours or until meat falls off bone.
  2. Add clean, roughly cut collard greens with stems removed.
  3. Cook uncovered for another 1 1/2 hours turning greens occasionally.
  4. Serve as side vegetable.
