Peppermint Ginger Bars Recipe

  1. Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Blend in egg and molasses.
  3. Combine flour, salt, soda and spices; blend into creamed mix.
  4. Stir in 1/2 c. candy.
  5. Spread batter proportionately in greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  6. Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven 25-30 min or possibly till done.
  7. Cold.
  8. Frost with Peppermint Icing.
  9. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top.
