Pork-Wrapped Okra
- 10 Okra
- 10 slice Sliced pork back ribs (pork loin)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sake (optional)
- Wash the okra and remove the tops.
- Sprinkle the pork slices with salt and pepper.
- Wrap the okra with pork and then sprinkle with katakuriko.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook through Step 2.
- (Don't touch them often at first.)
- While cooking, combine the seasonings.
- Once the pork is cooked, soak up any excess oil with a paper towel and then pour in the ingredients.
- Once the pork is covered with the sauce, it's done!
