Split Pea, Ham and Parmesan Soup

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 min.
  3. or until crisp-tender.
  4. Add ham; cook 2 min., stirring occasionally.
  5. Add peas, water and broth; stir.
  6. Bring to boil; cover.
  7. Simmer on medium-low heat 1 hour or until peas are tender.
  8. Serve topped with cheese and croutons.
