Beef And Noodle Casserole(Microwave)
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green onions
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 8 oz. cooked noodles
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. cornflake crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up and skinned
- 1 1/2 tsp. freeze-dried chives
- Place butter in a shallow dish.
- Microwave at High for 4 to 5 seconds, until butter melts.
- In another shallow dish, mix cornflake crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chives and parsley.
- Dip chicken in butter, then crumbs to coat.
- Arrange chicken pieces, bone side down, in shallow pan.
- Microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Turn over.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes longer, until juices run clear.
- Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Makes 4 servings.
