Turkey Cranwiches
- 4 slices colby or 4 slices monterey jack cheese or 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 12 cup cranberry-orange sauce or 12 cup relish
- 12 ounces thinly sliced cooked turkey
- 8 slices firm-textured wheat or 8 slices rye bread
- 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
- Layer cheese, sauce and turkey on 4 slices of bread.
- Top with remaining bread.
- Spread top slices of bread with half of the butter.
- Place sandwiches, butter sides down, in 10-inch skillet.
- Spread top slices of bread with remaining butter.
- Cook uncovered over medium heat about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn and cook other sides about 2 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
