15 Minute French Dip Sandwiches

  1. Set oven to broil - high.
  2. Add pepper and garlic powder to beef broth.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce broth to low, add roast beef, cover and cook 5 mins or until beef browns.
  5. While beef is cooking, combine mayonnaise and horseradish sauce.
  6. Slice hoagies in half lengthwise and spread thin layer of the mayo-horseradish mixture onto the hoagies.
  7. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  8. Remove roast beef from broth with slotted spoon and add to sandwiches.
  9. Top roast beef with provolone cheese.
  10. Broil for 3 minutes or until slightly crispy.
  11. While sandwiches cook, add sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and just enough corn starch to broth to thicken slightly.
  12. Stir.
  13. Serve with sandwiches for dipping.
