Hong Kong Pepper Steak Recipe
- 1 pound round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 c. celery, minced
- 1/2 c. green onions, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 c. bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms with juice
- Brown steak in butter in skillet.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer 30 to 45 min, or possibly till tender.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve over egg noodles or possibly rice.
