Easy Peach Cobbler

  1. Prehead oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Pour the melted butter in a 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1 cup spenda for baking, baking powder and salt.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stir in the milk, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour this batter over the butter but do not stir them together.
  8. Peel, pitt, and thinly slice peaches.
  9. In a small saucepan, combine the peaches, lemon juice, and remaining cup of spenda and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
  10. Pour the peaches over the batter but do not stir them together.
  11. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  13. Servce warm or cold.
