Blue Ribbon Tart Lemon Squares Recipe

  1. Combine 1 c. flour, powdered sugar and 1/8 tsp.
  2. salt.
  3. Cut butter in till mix is crumbly.
  4. Press mix into 7 x 11 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish (9 inch square also works).
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
  6. Combine sugar, 2 Tbsp.
  7. flour, baking pwdr, 1/8 tsp.
  8. Large eggs, lemon juice and lemon rind.
  9. Mix thoroughly.
  10. Spread proportionately over baked crust.
  11. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min.
  12. Cold in pan on rack.
  13. Spread with Lemon Glaze.
