Crunchy Sesame Seed Cucumbers with an Extra Twist
- 2 Cucumbers
- 2 pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp White sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp Kombu tea
- 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- Wash the cucumbers and evenly peel about 4 strips lengthwise to make a striped pattern.
- Chop off the ends.
- On a cutting board, sprinkle salt on the cucumber, then press down while rolling them with your palm.
- This will give the cucumbers a nice green color.
- Wash the cutting board and cucumber, wipe excess water with a paper towel, and cut into 1-1.5 cm thickness.
- Put the cucumber slices and the ingredients in a plastic bag and rub evenly.
- It's ready to serve.
- When making these for packed lunches, useto remove the excess water content.
- When preparing ahead of time for a BBQ, toss with salted kelp powder right before serving.
