Crunchy Sesame Seed Cucumbers with an Extra Twist

  1. Wash the cucumbers and evenly peel about 4 strips lengthwise to make a striped pattern.
  2. Chop off the ends.
  3. On a cutting board, sprinkle salt on the cucumber, then press down while rolling them with your palm.
  4. This will give the cucumbers a nice green color.
  5. Wash the cutting board and cucumber, wipe excess water with a paper towel, and cut into 1-1.5 cm thickness.
  6. Put the cucumber slices and the ingredients in a plastic bag and rub evenly.
  7. It's ready to serve.
  8. When making these for packed lunches, useto remove the excess water content.
  9. When preparing ahead of time for a BBQ, toss with salted kelp powder right before serving.
