Croatian Chicken With Sour Cream Recipe
- 1 lg. fryer chicken
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 pound sliced mushrooms
- Juice of half lemon
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Wash chicken and cut into pcs.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken in warm butter till golden brown on all sides.
- Place in a well greased baking dish.
- Add in flour to butter and cook approximately one minute.
- Add in lemon juice, mushrooms, paprika, and lowfat sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour this sauce over the fried chicken.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about three quarters of an hour till chicken is very tender.
- Serves 6.
