Venison (Or Beef) Stew

  1. Brown meat in olive oil.
  2. When meat is browned well, add onion, celery and peppers.
  3. Stir.
  4. After 5 minutes add bay leaf and just enough water to cover.
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes
  6. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 1 hour.
  7. Season to taste with pepper and salt, if needed.
