Vickys Rice Krispie Christmas Trees
- 200 grams marshmallows
- 3 tbsp tate & lyles golden syrup
- 100 grams rice krispie cereal
- 6 ice cream cones
- 500 grams icing sugar
- 1 green food colouring
- 1 sprinkles and writing icing to decorate
- Melt the marshmallows in the microwave with the syrup, then quickly stir in the rice krispies
- Gently pack the mixture inside the cones and push a lolly stick in the middle
- Chill or freeze until set
- Mix the icing sugar with the food colouring and as little water as needed to make a thick paste
- Coat the cones and decorate with sprinkles, silver balls etc
- I prop mine in a wire rack to set.
- Will be good for 2 days before the krispie mix starts to go soft
