Salsa Roja de Tomatillos Recipe

  1. In a medium saucepan and on medium heat, cook tomatillos and chilies with enough water to cover.
  2. Cook until the color of the tomatillos become pale.
  3. They should become soft, but not to the point of falling apart.
  4. Put mixture in a bleder with garlic and salt.
  5. Add about a cup of cooking liquid to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Add cilantro at the end.
  7. Serve hot or cold.
