Baked Pork Chops And Stuffing Recipe

  1. On rack in broiling pan, broil pork chops, turning once, till rare.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Arrange chops in casserole which is large sufficient to hold them in 1 layer and sprinkle with 1/8 tsp each salt, pepper and thyme, add in broth, cover casserole, and bake for about 45 min.
  3. While pork chops are baking, in small skillet heat margarine till bubbly and warm, add in onion and garlic and saute/fry till onion is translucent/soft.
  4. Add in mushrooms, celery and remaining 1/8 tsp each salt, pepper and thyme.
  5. Saute/fry for 5 min.
  6. Add in bread cubes.
  7. Spoon an equal amount of stuffing mix onto each baked pork chop; bake, uncovered for 15 min.
