Chikuwa Isobe Fries
- 1 packages Chikuwa
- 4 tbsp White flour
- 3 tbsp Water
- 1 as much (to taste) Aonori
- 40 grams Oil
- Cut the chikuwa in half vertically so that they cook well.
- Make the batter.
- Make sure not to stack the batter coated chikuwa.
- Immediately cover with a lid to keep the grease from splattering, and flip them over while keeping an eye on them.
- They are done once the grease has evaporated.
- Enjoy.
- I also add them to my high school son's bento.
- It always makes me happy when he tells me his bento was delicious.
- If you mix the batter inside a mushroom or tofu container, then you can throw it away after using, and there is nothing to wash.
- If you place them in a box made out of newspaper, then there are no dishes.
