Meatless Mushroom Swiss Burgers
- 2 cups Finely Chopped Fresh White Mushrooms
- 2 whole Eggs, Lightly Beaten
- 1/2 cups Dry Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Or Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 cups Onions, Finely Chopped
- 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 Tablespoons Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 4 slices Swiss Cheese
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- The key to this recipe is to chop or prep all of the ingredients as small as possible.
- That way they will combine easier for a very realistic burger texture.
- Youll never miss the meat!
- Combine all of the ingredients (except for the olive oil, Swiss cheese and buns) in a bowl until the mixture is cohesive (note: it will not stick together like ground meat).
- Use a hamburger press (or your hands if you dont have one) to make 4 equal-sized patties from the mixture.
- The mix is enough for four 5-ounce sized burgers.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- When hot add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- At the end of the cook time add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty until melted.
- Serve on buns.
