Meatless Mushroom Swiss Burgers

  1. The key to this recipe is to chop or prep all of the ingredients as small as possible.
  2. That way they will combine easier for a very realistic burger texture.
  3. Youll never miss the meat!
  4. Combine all of the ingredients (except for the olive oil, Swiss cheese and buns) in a bowl until the mixture is cohesive (note: it will not stick together like ground meat).
  5. Use a hamburger press (or your hands if you dont have one) to make 4 equal-sized patties from the mixture.
  6. The mix is enough for four 5-ounce sized burgers.
  7. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. When hot add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side.
  9. At the end of the cook time add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty until melted.
  10. Serve on buns.
