Roasted Chicken Au Jus
- 1 (1 ounce) envelopelipton recipe secrets onion and mushroom soup mix
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 12-3 lbs chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 12 cup hot water
- Preheat oven to 425.
- In large bowl, combine Onion Mushroom Soup Mix and oil; add chicken and toss until evenly coated.
- In a broiler pan, without the rack, arrange chicken.
- Place chicken in oven and bake, basting occasionally, 40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Remove chicken to serving platter.
- Add hot water to pan and stir, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan.
- Serve sauce over chicken.
