Mom's Chili
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 -3 cloves garlic (more depending on your taste)
- 1 -2 can kidney bean, drained (i use 1 can light & 1 can dark)
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato paste
- 5 14 cups water
- 1 (32 ounce) can tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in soup pot.
- Drain grease and rinse with water in colander.
- Put back in pot.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Cook for at least one hour.
- Will get hotter as it ages.
