  1. In a medium sized saucepan, cook the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 2-4 minutes.
  2. Do not allow the garlic to brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and simmer while using a slotted spoon to crush the tomatoes until sauce has thickened, 20-25 minutes
  4. Stir in basil and parmesan cheese.
  5. Salt to taste and serve.
