Chocolate Chipper Cake (Microwave)
- 12 cup water
- 12 cup chopped dates
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 13 cup vegetable oil
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup semi-sweet chocolate or 12 cup milk chocolate chips
- 14 cup chopped nuts
- Heat water on High for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes in microwave oven.
- Add baking soda.
- Let cool 5 minutes.
- In Mix-N-Pour bowl or large mixing bowl, blend together oil and sugar.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Stir in warm date mixture.
- Add flour, cocoa, salt.
- Mix until just smooth.
- Lightly grease a 9-inch glass cake pan.
- Pour batter into pan and microwave at 50% (Medium) for 7 to 8 minutes.
- Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
- Microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes or until center is set.
- Serve warm or cold.
