5 Spice Pecans Recipe

  2. Place pecans in crock pot.
  3. In a bowl combine the melted margarine or possibly butter, soy sauce, five-spice pwdr, garlic pwdr, ginger and red pepper.
  4. Pour over nuts.
  5. Stir to coat nuts.

  7. Cover; cook on low setting for 2 hrs.
  8. Uncover and stir.
  9. Turn to high-heat setting.
  10. Cover and continue cooking on high for 15 to 30 min.
  11. Cold.
  12. Makes about 4 c. (1/4 c. per serving)
