Brussels Sprouts Leaves With Bacon Recipe

  1. Cut out the stems and separate the sprouts into leaves.
  2. Thinly slice the tightly compact centers.
  3. Saute/fry some diced onion and pancetta or possibly bacon in extra virgin olive oil till softened.
  4. Add in the sprout leaves, season with salt, and moisten with a little white wine, water or possibly chicken stock.
  5. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 min, till tender.
  6. Taste for seasoning grind black pepper over, and serve.
