Apple stack cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Spray a 10 inch cast iron skillet with cooking spray
  3. Divide dough into 20 balls all about the same size
  4. Roll each ball out into a thin layer that is the size of your skillet
  5. Do all 20 layers this way and bake one at a time in oven until golden brown.
  6. These cakes will be crisp.
  7. Cook your dried apples with a little water.
  8. You want them to be thick.
  9. When they are cool sweeten them to your liking and spread 2 tablespoons of apples between each layer of cake.
  10. This cake can be a 20 layer cake or you can make 2 10 layers which is what I do.
  11. I freeze one cake for later
