Taco Sauce

  1. Combine the tomato paste with the water in large non-reactive pot.
  2. stir until smooth.
  3. Add cayenne, chilli powder, salt, corn starch, and vinegar.
  4. Bring to a hard boil, stirring often.
  5. Boil for 3-5 minutes.
  6. remove from heat.
  7. Cool then refrigerate
  8. (if desired use sterile jars, rings and lids for hot water canning method for 20 minutes to make shelf stable.
  9. Once jars are opened be sure to refrigerate!
