NIGHT BEFORE FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE Recipe

  1. Grease a 13x9x2 inch pan with butter or margarine.
  2. Cut bread into 1-inch slices.
  3. Arrange in a single layer in pan.
  4. In a large bowl, beat eggs with remaining ingredients, except butter.Pour over bread in pan.
  5. Cover with foil - refrigerate 4 to 36 hours.
  6. To bake, remove foil and dot with butter.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven and
  9. let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve with syrup, homemade fruit sauce, fresh fruit and/or whipped cream.
