Aunt Catherine's Sugar Cookies Recipe
- 3 1/4 c. Flour, all-purpose, sifted
- 2 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr, double-action
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Butter
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 lrg Large eggs Colored sugars to decorate

- Preheat oven to 400 .
- Sift together on to waxed paper the flour, baking pwdr and salt.

- In large bowl, cream butter with an electric mixer till fluffy.
- Add in vanilla and sugar, beat well.
- Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add in the sifted flour mix, stirring onlytill the dough is throughly mixed.

- Divide dough in half, form into patties, wrap, refrigerate3-4 hrs.

- Roll out dough on floured surface.
- Cut with cutters and decorate.
- Place on greased baking sheet.

- Bake 8-12 min or possibly until LIGHTLY brown.
- Using wide spatula, transfer to racks to cold.
