Strawberry Yogurt Freeze

  1. Combine crushed strawberries, yogurt, Splenda and almond extract.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in strawberry mixture.
  4. Spread evenly in an 8-inch square pan.
  5. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
  6. Cover pan for longer storage.
  7. To serve cut into squares, and serve with sauce or fruit.
  8. DOUBLE BERRY SAUCE: In a heavy saucepan combine cornstarch, Splenda, and water.
  9. Stir in blueberries.
  10. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  11. Simmer 3 minutes.
  12. Remove from heat, Stir in 2 cups sliced strawberries and Amaretto or orange flavored liqueur, if desired.
  13. Cover and chill,.
