Easy Garlic Rolls(Makes About 40 Tiny Rolls)
- 2 cans country-style biscuits
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 c. oil
- about 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 loaf day old white bread (open pkg. and allow bread to dry more overnight)
- 1/2 lb. oleomargarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 to 5 tsp. cinnamon, powdered
- Mix sugar and cinnamon powder together.
- Starting with 4 slices at a time, spread margarine evenly and smoothly on both sides.
- Cut each slice into 4 or 5 pieces lengthwise.
- Remove side crust only. Dip each piece into sugar and cinnamon mixture until well coated. Arrange in one layer on a cookie sheet.
- Bake in a slow oven at 170u0b0 for at least 1 hour.
- Turn over one time.
- Shut off oven. Leave the little toast in until dried and crisp (similar to Melba toast).
