Indian Tacos

  1. Brown ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is browned and onions are softened.
  2. Drain grease.
  3. Add Hormel chili and Ranch Style Beans; heat throughly.
  4. In the meantime start your fry bread.
  5. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Add milk and stir.
  7. Make dough balls using all of your dough because once you start the frying it goes pretty fast.
  8. I usually use about 1 cup of oil in an 8 inch skillet.
  9. Roll out the prepared dough balls one at time on floured board.
  10. (The balls dont need to be real big.
  11. Once you get all your toppings on it is quite filling. )
  12. Fry dough balls in hot oil until brown on both sides.
  13. Drain on paper towel while you continue frying all of the flattened dough balls.
  14. Top with meat mixture, shredded lettuce, cheese and tomatoes.
