A Maize Ing Corn Chowder Recipe

  1. Fry bacon in a Dutch oven till crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 Tbsp.
  2. drippings.
  3. Crumble bacon and set aside.
  4. Saute/fry onion in reserved drippings till tender; add in potatoes and water.
  5. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 min or possibly till potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in lowfat milk, corn, salt, and pepper to taste; continue to cook, stirring frequently, till heated through.
  7. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon to serve.
