Cherry Chocolate Cake (Fitzgeralds and Melissa)
- 1 each cake mix, chocolate 1 box
- 1 each cherry pie filling 1 can
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar granulated
- 5 tablespoons margarine
- 13 cup milk
- 6 ounces chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- Bake at 350F (180C) F until done in the center.
- Allow to cool.
- Frosting:
- Combine first three ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to boil, stir constantly for one minute.
- (Must do to dissolve sugar)
- Take off heat, stir in chocolate chips, pour over the cake.
