Molasses Crinkle Cookies Recipe

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar till smooth and light.
  2. Beat in egg till fluffy.
  3. Add in molasses and dry lowfat milk; beat well.
  4. Blend in soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and wheat germ; beat 1 minute.
  5. Stir in flour till blended.
  6. Using 1/3 c. dough for each cookie, form dough into round balls.
  7. Roll in granulated sugar; place on well-greased cookie sheet.
  8. Sprinkle with few drops of water.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 14 min.
  10. Cold on rack.
  11. (Cookies freeze beautifully.)
  12. Makes 15 cookies.
