Shipwreck in a Skillet
- 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Dehydrated Minced Onion
- 3 whole Medium Carrots, Diced
- 2 whole Large Tomatoes, Diced OR 1 Can (14.5 Oz. Can) Diced Tomatoes
- 1/2 envelopes (about 1 Oz. Envelope) Taco Seasoning
- 3 whole Red Potatoes, Peeled And Diced
- 1 pint Green Beans OR 1 Cup Peas
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat a large non-stick skillet on medium.
- Crumble beef and add beef, garlic, onion, and carrots to the skillet.
- Cook and stir 5 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes and taco seasoning; stir.
- Layer the diced potatoes over the mixture.
- Sprinkle the green beans over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Do not stir.
- Place the lid on the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes longer, until the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes to finish cooking.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Serve out of the skillet to a hungry family.
