Swedish Melting Moments

  1. Cream butter in large bowl; gradually add sugar, beating untill light.
  2. Sift in flour and cornstarch; mix well.
  3. Add flavorings, blending well.
  4. Chill 1 hour.
  5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls, and place 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in water.
  7. Bake at 350F (180C) F for 10 minutes.
  8. Cookies do not brown.
  9. This is the recipe as written, I have a note that they do not spread on the pan, so I would put them closer together.
